Refund policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy applies to paid programming consulting and advisory services sold by Cloud Grove Consulting (Priya Rashid, sole proprietor, SSM 202003481230).
Proposed terms — pending business confirmation: the windows below follow common Malaysian practice for professional services until you receive a signed statement of work with different terms.
Eligibility
- Project fees: If you cancel in writing within seven calendar days of accepting a statement of work and before we begin billable work, we refund prepaid amounts minus any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
- Work started: Once discovery deliverables or repository access work has started, fees for completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Advisory blocks: Unused prepaid advisory hours within the validity period stated on your invoice may be refunded at our discretion minus a ten percent administrative fee, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
Deposits and milestones
Deposits secure calendar capacity. Milestone payments correspond to defined deliverables in your statement of work. Milestones marked accepted in writing are not refundable.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may reschedule kickoff calls with at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Repeated no-shows may forfeit the scheduled session fee.
How to request a refund
Email info@cloud-grove.digital or call +60-4-0000-1712 with your invoice number and reason. We respond within five business days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days.
Statutory rights
Malaysian consumers retain rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, including remedies for misrepresentation and, where applicable, cancellation rights for direct sales contracts. Claims within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal for Consumer Claims may be brought up to RM 50,000.
Exceptions
Custom work already merged to your repositories, or sessions already delivered, cannot be refunded. Taxes collected and remitted are refunded only where law requires.
