Cloud Grove Consulting (Priya Rashid, sole proprietor) is the data user and data controller for personal data collected through cloud-grove.digital. This notice is prepared for Malaysia under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), including amendments effective from 1 June 2025.

Personal data we collect

  • Inquiry form: name, email, optional phone, and message text you submit.
  • Cookie preference: your accept/reject choice stored locally in the browser (see Cookies).
  • Server logs: our hosting provider may process technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) to deliver the site and protect against abuse. We do not use those logs for profiling or advertising.

We do not run analytics pixels, advertising tags, or third-party trackers on this website.

We process inquiry data to respond to your request, prepare proposals, and perform pre-contract steps you initiate. Cookie preference data is processed to honour your choice about non-essential storage. Technical logs are processed for security and service integrity.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share inquiry details with professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality when needed, and with infrastructure providers that host email or the inquiry API, solely to operate the service you requested.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last meaningful correspondence unless a longer period is required for legal claims or tax records. Cookie preference remains until you clear site data or change your choice.

Security

We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and least-privilege access for staff handling inquiries. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending secrets through the form.

Your rights

Subject to PDPA 2010, you may request access to, correction of, or limitation on our use of your personal data, and—where applicable under the 2025 amendments—data portability for data you provided in structured form. Contact the DPO above; we may need to verify your identity.

Data breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as soon as practicable where required, and affected individuals when significant harm is likely, in line with section 12B of the amended Act.

Cross-border transfers

If inquiry processing involves servers outside Malaysia, we ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with PDPA requirements before transfer.
